Health and Fitness Ministry

Culinary Ministry

Text Box: Beautification Ministry The mission of the beautification ministry is to make our church home as comfortable and as pleasing to the eye as possible. Benevolence Ministry The mission of the benevolence ministry is to help meet the needs of the families of our church and families throughout the community through charity. Culinary Ministry The mission of the culinary ministry is to promote fellowship by ministering to members and visitors through the preparation and serving of nourishment for the physical body. Deacon’s Ministry The mission of the deacon’s ministry is to assist the Pastor in overseeing the total vision of the church. Deaconess’ Ministry The mission of the deaconess’s ministry is to assist the deacons in meeting the needs of the Pastor during the Lord’s Supper by dressing the table and providing all elements needed for Communion. Da’ Grove Soldier’s Ministry The mission of the drill team ministry is to praise God through steps, scriptures, praise songs, and mime. Health & Fitness Ministry The mission of the health & fitness ministry is to assist the members in becoming whole in mind, body, and spirit by promoting physical fitness through exercise classes and health awareness workshops. Marriage Ministry The mission of the marriage ministry is to promote spiritual growth and stability among the married members of the congregation. Media Ministry The mission of the media ministry is to provide audio/video recordings to the congregation and the community.

Text Box: Mighty Men’s Ministry The mission of this ministry is to inform, uplift, encourage, and empower the men of the church to take responsibility for their families and be models of manhood that is pleasing in the sight of God. This ministry provides an outlet for the men of the church to fellowship, share ideas, and participate in various activities inside as well as outside of the church. Mission Ministry The mission of this ministry is to spread the good news about Jesus Christ by visiting the sick and shut-in, the prisons, the nursing homes, and the community. Music Ministry The mission of this ministry is to magnify God through music and song. This ministry is composed of 4 choirs which include the Sanctuary Choir, The Male Choir, The Sanctuary Singers, and the Children’s Choir. Pastoral Care Ministry The mission of the pastoral care ministry is to ensure that the pastor has access to the practical resources he needs in order to ensure that he will be able to serve with excellence in order to accomplish his God-given mission. Single’s Ministry The mission of the single’s ministry is to promote spiritual growth and stability among the single members of the congregation. Sunday School Ministry The mission of the Sunday school ministry is to ensure each member of the church is taught how to study the scriptures of the Bible, and the importance of Christian service and fellowship. Transportation Ministry The mission of the transportation ministry is to provide shuttle service to the members of the church and to the community. Usher’s Ministry The mission of the usher’s ministry is to reflect the Christian dedication of the pastor and all who come to worship by greeting members and visitors and maintaining order during worship service. Young Adult’s Ministry The mission of the young adult’s ministry is to provide critical instruction, fellowship, worship, and ministry opportunities for the youth of our church and surrounding areas.
